Baguio is the one of the best tourist destination in the country it is also known "The Summer Capital of the Philippines".If you want to escape the summer heat , you want to relax from stress at work or bond with your Family , Friends and Love ones this place is the one that you will surely enjoy. It is located at Benguet 5-6 hrs away from Manila. I'm sharing my travel together with my boyfriend with the tips , itinerary , budget and beautiful pictures .

Tips: Make sure that you have a hotel like us to avoid of fully book hotel scenario . My boyfriend booked a hotel at online booking where you can find a cheap or discounted price BUT make sure that it is far from the prospected date, so you get their promo . We recommend to get a hotel near at session road for easy transportation access to your destinations.


We don't need an extravagant hotel because we use this room for our big bags only and to sleep at night because we are rooming the city all day but you guys can decide for your hotel .

How to get there:
Victory Bus Line located in Cubao
Daily Trip to Baguio 5-6 hrs
- ₱445 (8.32 USD ) for regular
- ₱356 (6.66 USD ) for Student with ID/PWD/Senior Citizen
If you want a comportable bus you can take a deluxe bus but your budget will adjust to a ₱275 (5.14 USD ) JOYBUS of Genesis Bus Line located also in Cubao.

Day 1
1.) Burham Park
From our Hotel Burham Park is very near so you don't need to ride a jeep because it's 15 minutes walk.

We arrive at 4pm at the hotel to prepare our things and to rest for 30 minutes. When we get at burham park , it's getting eve to do some activities so we decided to walk around and take some pictures. This place is near at Session road you can also walk to get there .
2.) Session Road & Night Market
This is the center of Baguio and also called The Baguio Central District . While walking along the street you can do ukay-ukay shopping ,and eat in different restaurants.
Do you know what is tupig?
Tupig is made out of ground glutinous rice and coconuts strips wrapped in banana leaves then cooked over charcoal you can see it at the road where you can buy and it is very delicious.
From Burham Park , it is 11 minutes walk going to session road and from Session Road it is 7 minutes walk going to Night Market.



3.) SM Baguio
From session road it will take 4 minutes walk to SM Baguio.
-The largest shopping mall in the North Luzon Region.
-The SM does not use air conditioning system.
4.) Baguio Cathedral
Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral is also known Baguio Cathedral . My grandmother told me that if you gonna visit the church for the first time in different places , after praying make some wish. How about you guys are you doing it ?
From SM just walk down to Baguio post office and walk straight.

Day 2
5.) Mines View Park
From Hotel ride a jeep going to Mines view park. The jeepney terminal is located at the session road in front of Danes Bakeshop ₱ 20.00 ( 0.19 USD )is the fare




6.) Good Shepherd Convent
It is not complete without taking home some pasalubong. Ube Jam , Strawberry Jam, Peanut Brittle , Snow balls and Lengua De Gato are some of the products of good shepherd convent. I suggest to buy here because they make everyday and the price is cheaper than other stalls at Baguio.
From Mines View Park it will take 10 minutes walk to Good Shepher Convent.

7.) The Mansion
The mansion is the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. You're lucky if you don't have people at your back while capturing some great photos.
From Good Shepherd Convent just walk and ride a jeep beside of Mines View Park and tell the driver to drop you at The Mansion ₱ 10.00 ( 0.19USD ) is the fare


8.) Wright Park
It feels like I'm in the other country. Take some great photo at the beautiful Pines , man made water pond that you can feed the fishes , you can buy strawberry ice cream or strawberry taho , walk around at the park circle and stairs that lead you to the horses.
-From The Mansion just cross the other side of the road and The wright Park is waving at you.

9.) Camp John Hay
You can tour the Camp John Hay it has many pine trees , restaurants that you can eat , cafes, and liquor stall I also bought a white wine for pasalubong and pose like a pro model , well thanks to my boyfriend he's a good photographer ever.
From Wright Park ride a taxi to Camp John Hay fare is ₱ 60.00 (1.12 USD )


10.) Botanical Garden
Mesmerized by the beautiful Garden a variety of flowers , plants and native nipa hut. You might tired but don't forget to walk inside the Japanese tunnel used during world war II.
From Camp John Hay ride a taxi to Botanical Garden ₱60.00 (1.12 USD ) if your're not going to Camp John Hay you can also ride a jeep from Wright park or Mines View Park bound to down town of Baguio to Botanical Garden just tell to the driver to drop off to Botanical Garden.



11.) Lourdes Grotto
The statue of Virgin Mary is at the top of 252 steps stairs. You can buy candles for Virgin Mary while praying.
From Botanical Garden ride a taxi to Lourdes Grotto Fare is ₱60.00 (1.12 USD )


DAY 3
12.) Strawberry Farm
When you say Baguio people pop in their mind is STRAWBERRY like ''oh bring me some strawberry as your pasalubong'' .
-Ride a jeep located at the back of Centermall
-jeep bound to Buyagan or Pico La Trinidad. Fare is at ₱14. (2.26 USD )


13.) Bahong
If you want flowers visit this place. There's lot of flowers and plants that you can bring to your home if you want it for your collection .

14.) Stobosa
Color is the power which directly influences the Soul

From the strawberry farm, walk towards the highway road and ride any jeep that is bound to Baguio City. Tell the driver to drop you off at the painted houses.
15.) Bell Church
Bell Church is a Chinese Temple in Baguio
From Stobosa, walk straight to La Trinidad Arc. From there, you will see the temple or ride jeepney and tell to the driver to drop off at Bell Church fare is ₱ 8 (0.019 USD)


16.) Tam-Awan Village
-Ride a jeepney bound to Quezon Hill at Baguio City Market in front of Dane's Bake shop fare is ₱ 8 (0.019 USD




17.) Diplomat Hotel
And by the way guys we're not able to go at Bencab Museum because it is close this is the Schedule of the Museum.
Tuesdays to Sundays 9:00am to 6:00pm (last entry at 5:30pm) Closed Mondays, Christmas day and New Year’s day.
Ride a jeepney bound to Dominican Hill. Terminal is at the public market, ( back of Abanao Square) Fare is ₱8.50 (0.019 USD)
